We got a great new start with school on Monday, August 10th. We've had a few interruptions including Anne's birthday and a home school Retreat (!!!!!), but we're doing great. One of the things we've started doing is dividing our day up into three parts. Here's a sampling of some of our projects during those periods over the past few weeks.Basics Time:Nathan & Beca play a math game.

Ema & Anne practice multiplication facts.

Beca copies the Articles of Faith.

Rob practices math facts with Nathan.

Ema studies her spelling words.

Anne works in her spelling book.
Electives:
Ema finds a dead lizard.

Nathan completes his shelf re-stocking and list making in style.

Nathan's lego house.

Mom's latest sewing project inspires family togetherness,

family . . . sharing,

and MORE sewing projects!
Exploring Time:

Anne has helpers using her Easy Bake Oven to get ready for her birthday party.

The kids watch their weather vane to see which direction the wind is blowing from.
