Here's a few things that the Beckstrands have been anxiously awaiting:
This project of gluing a single piece of paper to two blocks of wood took a long time to complete. First we had to wait for the glue to dry. Then we had to figure out how to get the two block to move in opposite directions to represent an earthquake. We finally had to put one block on the table and then use a hammer on the other one.
Here is the results. The ripped paper is supposed to represent what happens to the surface of the earth because of an earthquake. . . . So look closely.
Nathan had to wait a long time for his Cub Scout Bear Badge. I think his dad the Cub Master (now retired) did a great job with the face paint!
We've been checking Craig's List for a dog for a long time, mostly waiting for some income before getting another dog. This dog, Buddy, we found on Facebook and got free from a family who couldn't keep him for health reason. He's a great dog and everyone loves him, even Mom.
Mathew warmed up fairly quickly and Merisa took less than a day.
Buddy isn't quite leash trained yet, and Nathan is itching to take him out. So is Mom, but for the reason of exercise motivation.
